Encounters that release the Miraculous

Outline

The aroma of Christ
  • If the presence of God is around us and we have encountered Him one of the results will be that miracles take place
  • We have to take the risk though
  • 2 Corinthians 2:15-17 [NIV] 15 For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?
  • Not everyone is going to like us
  • Most of the time they do – acts of kindness
  • I want to bring the Aroma that brings life

Creating a safe place to encounter God’s supernatural healing
  • Jesus told us to pray for the sick – James 5. the 72, the 12 and all disciples. Obedience
  • We are going to ask Can we pray for you? Yes/No
  • Pray in the name of Jesus
  • Gently but with Authority
  • With the right motive – to see them healed and pain or suffering go – Love
  • Through gifts of the spirit – words of knowledge, discerning of spirits, gifts of healing
  • Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world
